This weeks weekly photo challenge is ‘opposites’.
This picture has the green of the tree, with the barren, but completely breath-taking and mind-blowing, landscape of the Grand Canyon in the background. It’s also a view over to the North Rim from the South Rim.
This was taken in the Grand Canyon National Park probably around 7.30am. It had been a much earlier start for sunrise!
What a fabulous photograph!

One of the greatest places in the world. Much better below the rim.☺

Isn’t it just? I had a reluctant travel companion so didn’t get to see below the rim but I hope to make it back one day 😊

I have backpacked from Grandview Point three times and hiked Hermit trail. It changes the color and light quickly. I did a post on last trip in with pics from inside. I don’t go to the River to avoid people and mules

I threatened the phone with watery death. Thus time for sure

Watery death is by far the worst death a phone can face. What a great post, thank you for sending the link. Your photo’s are wonderful!

You can’t take a bad picture there! The views are incredible. But the sounds are even more interesting. They carry for miles
